are there antibiotic treatments for prostrate cancer?

Can the prostrate cancer be cured with antibiotice treatment?

Antibiotics are used to treat infections, not cancer.
There is no cancer curable by the use of antibiotics.
I was put on antibiotics after surgery was performed on me for cancer.
But only to reduce the risk of infection, not for the cancer itself.

Prostrate Cancer and alternative cures?

Friday, May 18th, 2012

Previously, I put the same question on Yahoo and was looking for Prostrate Cance’s alternate cures but i was shocked there was hardly any response; Here are the details again and I would request the input from community to cure this problem.

My Biopsy detected early stage of prostrate cancer on Dec 10, 2010 . Thia cancer is medium agressive . I researched on Internet and found out that Cayenne pepper can blast cancer cells from anywhere in the body but I am not sure if it is true, unless someone has experienced it . I would like to know if anyone has any other info about alternative cure for prostrate cancer for example in Homeopathic, herbs, juices and Teas etc. I also read that Vitamin B 17 also was mentioned as an excellent cancer cure but I am looking for testimonies from people who might have first hand experience, They should write the answer. If you know any cures kindly post it.

I
I highly appreciate these nice people took their valuable time and all the pain to respond. May God bless them all forever.
After reading the comments I am not going to waste any time or money and put my life in danger. So it was real beneficial to read your comments. So I will forget B17, Cayenne peppers, baking soda, Homeopathic Silicia in CM power, Turmeric quarter spoon daily ; Edible Hydrogen Per Oxide ( edible), Barley’s dried Green Leaf and list goes on and on. I also read that Proton beam is the latest and greatest but it has been very successfully used in Europe for 18 years. It has no side effect and treatment is very short without pain etc. I will study more. I selected Hopkins University Medical Center because it is number one in curing Prostate cancer. I’ll check if they have Proton setup. One question I would face and I have no answer yet that if I go to out of state for treatment then my HMO AARP secure Horizon will not pay. So I have to change my Medicare In

The most common treatment for prostate cancer is surgery; however some other treatment procedures are also performed such as radiation therapy, chemotherapy, biological treatment hormonal therapy, cryosurgery, watchful waiting and follow-up testing or a combination of these approaches.
Alternative Therapies for Prostate Cancer

The answer to this is not very clear, as not many scientific reports are available on research carried out using alternative treatment such as Ayurved or Homeopathy. You can certainly discuss this with your doctor & in some selected cases, your doctor might suggest alternative treatment.

The knowledge about having prostate cancer certainly comes as a major blow to the patient & his family. It is helpful to involve your close family members in the decision-making. In addition to the medical help, love & help from the family members go a long way in creating a positive attitude in the patient’s mind. There is enough scientific proof to suggest that positive attitude enhances the efficacy of any medical treatment. Besides, this cancer is often slow growing & can thus be kept under control for years.

what is prostrate cancer, what are the symptoms, what is the cure and how can it be prevented?

Prostate cancer is a tumor of the prostate gland, part of the male reproductive system. The prostate cancer secretes part of semen that helps sperm survive. Women do not have prostates.

Prostate cancer usually grows very slowly compared to other cancers and takes a long time to learn to live outside the prostate. Many men (we know through autopsy studies) live out their lives and die from other causes, never even knowing they had prostate cancer. But others will be affected by prostate cancer, and need to be treated. That’s the conundrum in the science today–trying to figure out who needs to be treated and who can be left alone.

Prostate cancer CAN be cured, and IS cured all the time. It is one of the most curable when caught early. There is nearly a 100% cure rates when the cancer is contained within the prostate itself.

Early on, there are no symptoms. When symptoms manifest themselves (urinary trouble, pain) the cancer is usually advanced and incurable. Also, benign conditions can cause urinary symptoms. This is why it’s important to have a regular PSA and digital rectal exam starting at age 40.

Prostate cancer is caused by genetic factors in at least some cases. It may not be possible to completely prevent all cases of prostate cancer, but a healthy diet (low in red meat, high in fruits and vegetables) as well as other healthy lifestyle habits may reduce the risk.
