If there was a cure for natural cure for cancer, would the Pharmaceutical industry have it banned?
Are the need for profits causing unnecessary deaths?

Would you believe them if they told you it kills brain cells?

@jaker, because it’s free.
exactly, there is no money in the cure. if they could somehow turn it into a treatment therapy that cost you 200 dollars a month for the rest of your life, they’d go for it.

I wouldn’t be surprised, under Capitalism it’s always profit over people.

Many people that believe in conspiracy theories believe that, I personally don’t. I don’t think the MAJORITY of people in that industry would put profits over a human life.

think about how many people would be unemployed if we cured diseases….lots of doctors, nurses, hospital staff, police officers (for drug cases)….insurance companies…
lots of people have interests to keep the status quo

It is impossible for the Pharmaceutical companies to ban a treatment or a cure.
Unless government gets involved and becomes totalitarian.

If there was ANY cure for cancer they would be producing and marketing it. What in the world makes you think they would not want the business for themselves?

You live in leftist fantasy land kiddo. Do you really think anybody could keep the lid on the natural cure for cancer?

Of course not.
Each pharmaceutical company would claim a patent on it, resulting in 25 years of patent infringement litigation and necessitating a price for the drug that would put it out of reach of most of the people who need it. Then the companies would blame the government for the high price. Lawyers would get rich while sick people died.
In other words, business as usual.

No because it would make more money than ever would be made by not releasing it.
Weed is not the answer.

Hm, so your saying the doctors that work for the Pharmaceutical industry and they CEO, etc would let their own family members die from cancer
Rather than let the cure come out ?
Because pretty much everyone has had a family member die from cancer.

You can’t cure cancer! It’s not a disease but group of diseases. What does pot have to do with anything. Breast cancer is not the same as melanoma. Not all leukemia are equal. The cause is different and the effects as well.

If nobody ever knew what cannabis was, and today in the middle of bum-fuck nowhere it was discovered, it would be hailed as a medical miracle.

dont look at the pharmaceutical industry because only governments can ban something
Banning a product is not in their scope of control.
I can see the related question about marijuana having miraculous cancer fighting properties?
There isnt.
That is a pipe dream

The first answer has got it all wrong.
It isn’t the companies who can ban it. It is the government. Without the government they can’t do jack.
On another note, even if there was a natural cure to cancer, say a plant or something. Not everyone would be able to grow it. Companies could grow the plant on mass scale and sell it to us. That is an example of capitalism benefiting everybody.
