what is prostrate cancer, what are the symptoms, what is the cure and how can it be prevented?
Prostate cancer is a tumor of the prostate gland, part of the male reproductive system. The prostate cancer secretes part of semen that helps sperm survive. Women do not have prostates.
Prostate cancer usually grows very slowly compared to other cancers and takes a long time to learn to live outside the prostate. Many men (we know through autopsy studies) live out their lives and die from other causes, never even knowing they had prostate cancer. But others will be affected by prostate cancer, and need to be treated. That’s the conundrum in the science today–trying to figure out who needs to be treated and who can be left alone.
Prostate cancer CAN be cured, and IS cured all the time. It is one of the most curable when caught early. There is nearly a 100% cure rates when the cancer is contained within the prostate itself.
Early on, there are no symptoms. When symptoms manifest themselves (urinary trouble, pain) the cancer is usually advanced and incurable. Also, benign conditions can cause urinary symptoms. This is why it’s important to have a regular PSA and digital rectal exam starting at age 40.
Prostate cancer is caused by genetic factors in at least some cases. It may not be possible to completely prevent all cases of prostate cancer, but a healthy diet (low in red meat, high in fruits and vegetables) as well as other healthy lifestyle habits may reduce the risk.

it is not prostrate cancer, it is PROSTATE cancer, prostrate is a verb meaning to lay flat on your face. PROSTATE, is a gland found in the male body, it enlarges as a man ages and due to this growth can sometimes develop cancerous tissues, there are many options for treatment and if caught early, is usually cured. at this time, there is no known prevention.

What is it
Prostate cancer is a form of cancer that develops in the prostate, a gland in the male reproductive system. The cancer cells may metastasize (spread) from the prostate to other parts of the body, particularly the bones and lymph nodes.
Symptoms
Prostate cancer may cause pain, difficulty in urinating, problems during sexual intercourse, or erectile dysfunction. Other symptoms can potentially develop during later stages of the disease.
Cure
There is no cure, there’s only treatment available to make it go away. However, the best way to find the proper prostate cancer cure for you is to make sure that the cancer is detected in its early stages.
Treatment: There are many treatment options available for prostate cancer. No two men are alike and no two men respond the same way when it comes to a prostate cancer cure. For example, if you find a tumor and your doctor feels that it might be prostate cancer, he or she might take a "watching waiting" approach, meaning that the tumor will be monitored for a time before a course of action is taken. Some men may respond well to chemotherapy and others do well with hormone therapy
